
The renowned creator of some of the most outstanding works of "shojo trauma" manga, Naono Yoshinko is the first female creator to grace the Smudge line. Hide and Seek contains 252 pages of manga, made up of twelve works, all of which were originally publihsed in Japan between 1971 and 1973. It also includes a six-plate portfolio of detailed pencil drawings that are by turns creepy, disturbing and mildly erotic. And, as an added bonus, this volume concludes with a twelve page autobriographical essay by Nanao, "Down Memory Lane: Manga and Me."
