In the srping ofd 2025 Joe Sacco and Chris Hedges – who previously teamed up a decade ago on Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt –  traveled to Cairo, Egypt and interviewed 29 Palestnian families who had recently left Gaza.  Requiem for Gaza is the result.  This 142 page hardcover transcribes these interviews into a synthesis of reportage and portrait that is roughly 1/3 comics and illustrations by Sacco and 2/3 text by Hedges (which has been heavily annotated and footnoted for veifiication and source mapping.
