We are digging through the archives and this copy of Sturgeon White Moss is among those that we have unearthed.  As with all issues of this title, it was lmited to 1000 copies.  It appears that only this first issue was actually hand numbered, however.  This copy is #76.  

SWM was published out of London in the early 2000s, with this, the first, issue, being published in September 2002.  Each 8 1/2" x 11" issue runs for 48 pages; full color heavy cardstock covers, B & W interiors, printed on good quality white paper stock.

More far out art from this early 21st century anthology.  Marc Bell's contribution was eventually repreinted in Pure Pajamas (although NOT the cover, which is here only).  Ron Regé's piece is labelled as a preview to Awake Field, but the exact art here was not used, and so gives some insight into his begininnings on this project.  The work by Pakito is very energetic and fairly unique -- and good!
