This 40-page, digest-size comic book takes a look at our current socioeconomic reality through the lens of a children's picture book story.  It relates the dominant structural misalignment of resources that has produced The Great Wealth Disparity, and shows it to be the defining characteristic of our times.  It is filled with simple black & white illustrations, enhanced with blue wash tones, and accompanied by a conversational narration with just enough text to get the information across, and printed on a fairly heavy flat white stock with cardstock cover.

The irony here is that in employing the simplistic dialectic of a children's tale that works to resolve childhood issues, it effectively demonstrates that this manner or working is woefully inadequate to solve the global problems of adulthood, leading to an oppresive sense of gloom and all-pervading depression, thereby indicating that the pedagogical approach to instructing children may inadvertently lead to adult dysfunction and failure for those so instructed. This leads, in turn, to a takeaway that instructional methods need to evlove if the children of today are to meet the challanges of tomorrow, and, by so doing, Goat + Sheep shows that comics can play a part in the process
