In these 48 one-page strips, printed digest-size for easy portability, we are provided with a peek at the imaginings of the author as he fearlessly holds forth with his literary idols – most notably among them, the titular Don DeLillo – and peers, as well as his own cartoon creations, fabulating his place in the literary landscape and by so doing holds up a mirror to his readers, many of whom are likely to have engaged in similar (or at least analogous) fantasies themselves at some point.
