This beautifully hand printed work is the first chapter of an ongoing work in progress that presents a mythic-yet-entirely-rooted-in-reality and up-close-and-personal account of the dawning of "The Troubles" in 1960s Belfast, Northern Ireland. Anyone already familiar with David Sandlin's body of work will know to expect some of his classic archtypes to appear, but may not know that Sandlin was born and spent the first fifteen years of his life in Belfast, before being summarily moved with his parents to rural Alabama, where his father had grown up. So, suffice it to say, Sandlin knows whereof he speaks when it comes to Belfast during the 1960s. Please note that these copies are of the second printing, but are nonetheless still hand signed by Sandlin. We're not sure of the print run on this, but, we can say that the copies of the third issue are signed and numbered, in an edition of 100.
