This is without a doubt Jordan Crane's finest work to date.  It brings together all of his strengths in one superb package.  From cover to cover, the attention to detail in the production is -- with the notable exception of the work of Chris Ware -- unsurpassed in comics today.  However, even Chris is herein surpassed when it comes to the attention paid to detail in coloring.  The Clouds Above has raised the bar when it comes quality color comics work.  This is one book you have to pick up and look at!
